Google Glass is the latest stir in the technology world. Here is a Fullestop Review about Google Glass and everything that you want to know about it.
Initially the concept was announced by Google in 2012 and that time, it was considered to be a “vapourware”, something which would never come to fruition. The first name it received was “Google Goggle”. However, the words of critics could not distract Google from its mega project and now the glass is all set to make its appearance in market.
“We think technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t.” said Google. “A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment.”
Google Glass can be considered as the next step from smart watches. In simple terms, it’s a smart pair of glasses. The lenses are replaced with battery powered Heads-Up Display (HUD), sitting just above the right eye. You may say it’s a Smartphone that you can wear.
The glass wears the HUD, a camera, microphone and GPS. This combination makes it a strong device and capable of doing various tasks, very much similar to smartphones.
You can use your voice to operate the glass. It can take a picture or send messages on your voice instructions. It can also record video, make Google searches, give directions, translate your voice and perform a Google Hangout video call. The Google Glass is also featured with Google Now which can provide you information even before you search for it. New apps are being developed which will make it even more potent.
