To maintain its streak of sitting at the top of the world, Samsung has made an announcement that soon it’s going to adorn its most sought after Galaxy SIII with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phone is expected to receive the update by October this year.
As expected, the new operating system will be capable of taking the performance of the device to a very high level. There will be much better user interface, better camera and voice search. Along with this, the device will also be capable of accessing other updates in a much improved way. The company officials has chosen October as their launching time but there is no certain disclosure made about the exact date so far.
According to some trustworthy resources, the update will initially be available in UK market and the US customers will have to wait for some more time before enjoying the superior features. Currently, the manufacturers are busy evaluating which devices are compatible with the update; hence it may take some more time before unveiling the exact date of update.
Previously, it was stated by the company that they might be launching the update by the end of September, but then postponed the idea. That time, it was anticipated that Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III might be the devices to host the powerful operating system.
It’s found on some other resources that Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy S Advance can be the next target by the manufacture to update with Jelly Bean. Currently, these two devices are running on Ice Cream Sandwich. According to these sources, the update may arrive by the end of the year. Though, there is no confirmed announcement made by Samsung about the update with these two gadgets.
